PYONGYANG Nikola Jokic Women's Jersey , Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea announced Monday night the result of its working level talks with South Korea for the dispatch of its art troupe to the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
The talks, held Monday at the Thongil House in Panmunjom, were attended by members of the north side's delegation led by Kwon Hook Bong, department director of the Ministry of Culture, and members of the south side's delegation led by Ri U Song, section head of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said.
"At the talks both sides had a sincere discussion on the practical matters related to the performances by the north side's art troupe to be dispatched to the south side's area with the 23rd Winter Olympics as an occasion and adopted a joint press release," said the KCNA.
The report quoted the press release as saying that Pyongyang will dispatch its art troupe comprised of more than 140 members to South Korea and give its performances in Kangrung and Seoul.
It said technical matters on the performances will be settled through consultation with South Korea and Pyongyang will send a field survey delegation as early as possible.
"The south side will ensure the safety and convenience of the north side's art troupe to the maximum," the report said.
This was the second time for the DPRK and South Korea to hold talks at the truce village of Panmunjom, after they held their first high-level meeting on Jan. 9 in about two years.
The two sides have agreed to cooperate in the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics and take measures to ease military tension on the Korean Peninsula.
The leader of the anti-immigration UK Independence Party announced Monday he had ended his relationship after his girlfriend reportedly made racist remarks about Prince Harry's fiancee Meghan Markle.
Henry Bolton said he ended his brief liaison with 25-year-old Jo Marney after the Mail on Sunday newspaper published what he described as "appalling and insulting" text messages she reportedly sent.
"I don't defend these comments whatsoever... As of last night the romantic side of our relationship is ended," he told ITV television.
Bolton, who took up the UKIP leadership in September, said Marney had been suspended from the party.

According to the Mail on Sunday, she wrote messages to a friend complaining that Markle -- an American actress of mixed race who is due to marry Harry in May -- would "taint our royal family" with her "seed".
"Next will be a Muslim PM (prime minister). And a black king," she was reported to have written.
In a statement, Marney said her remarks were "deliberately exaggerated to make a point" and were taken out of context, but "I fully recognise the offence they have caused".
Bolton had already made headlines this month over his decision to end his marriage and start dating Marney.
He has resisted widespread calls to resign as UKIP's third elected leader since Nigel Farage stepped down in the wake of Britain's 2016 vote to leave the European Union.
The party has struggled to find a role since the Brexit referendum and has been beset by infighting.

SINGAPORE， April 20 (Xinhua) -- An oil tank fire which broke out on Singapore's Jurong Island， home to many companies in petrochemical industries， was put out after a five-hour operation， said Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) Wednesday evening.
SCDF said it was alerted to the incident at 23 Tembusu Road at 3: 00 p.m.， and the fire was put out at 7: 45 p.m. after nearly five hours of fire-fighting with around 150 personnel involved.
This operation was a race against time in view of the tank that has buckled and on the need to prevent the intense fire from spreading to its immediate surroundings， said SCDF.
The storage tank， containing light crude oil and is not toxic in nature， belongs to the company Jurong Aromatics Corp.， local media reported.
Upon the arrival of SCDF firefighters， the company emergency response team (CERT) was also working to mitigate the fire. A member of the CERT was conveyed to National University Hospital for heat exhaustion， SCDF added.
